Specialized as an Ophthalmologist at the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario (National Ophthalmology Foundation) Bogotá, Colombia 1988-1991.
Graduated as Sub Specialist on Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Ga. U.S. 1992.
Founding Member and Director of Centro Oftalmológico OCUCENTRO (Ophthalmology Center), second semester, 1999.
Dr Anibal A. Manzano Ocampo has a vast experience of ophthalmic surgery, including Cornea, Cataract and Pterygium Surgery, as well as Refractive Surgery-LASIK.
He constantly pursues medical-scientific development through the most prestigious national and international institutions, such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami; the Annual Course on Continuous Education on Ophthalmology of the FUNDONAL, Colombia, amongst others. This demonstrates his commitment to visual health and to his professional and personal integrity.
He is a member of the following instititutions: Academia Americana de Oftalmología (American Academy of Ophthalmology, AAO), Sociedad Colombiana de Oftalmología SCO, Sociedad Regional de Oftalmología del Atlántico, Asociación Colombiana de Córnea y Cirugía Refractiva.
